Our Journey Thus Far

Diagnosised with endometriosis- January 2006

1st laparoscopic surgery:
Only diagnostic, no lasering- June 2007

2nd laparoscopic surgery:
Appendix removed, endo lasered- October 2007

1st IVF
January 2008; Had to freeze all 6 of the embryos due to
overstimulation (OHSS)

1st Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)
Febrary 2008; Transfered 3 embryos, but resulted in NEGATIVE pregnancy test

2nd IVF
May 2008; Used about 1/2 the meds as 1st IVF to prevent OHSS.
Retrieval 5/6. Retrieved 6 eggs, 2 fertilized.
Transfer 5/9. Transfered 2 grade 2 embryos; One 7 cell, one 4 cell.
Beta (pregnancy test) 5/21; BFP+++++ HCG of 207.
Repeat beta 5/23; HCG of 360 (73% increase)
1st US 6/2 Saw a heartbeat!!! Everything perfect!
2nd US 6/16 Perfect, saw and heard the heartbeat.
Due date January 28th 2009!!:)

Braden Lee Burkholder was born on January 22, 2009 at 2:40pm via C-section. He was 6 lb. 20 in. long.

3rd IVF - Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)
Transfer 10/28/10. Transferred 1 blastocyst, still too compact to grade.
Beta (pregnancy test) 11/10/10; BFP++++HCG of 912.
Repeat Beta 11/12/10; HCG of 2092.
1st US 11/22/10 Saw a yolk sac and embryo and saw/heard the heartbeat!!!
2nd US 12/8/10 Saw the embryo, much bigger than before and able to see and hear the heartbeat and even see the baby moving.

Due date July 15th 2011 !!!
